We’ve had an industrious week here at Liberty Towers as we’ve signed up with a new accountancy firm who will hopefully take us to the next level, and also we had our first photo shoot. We booked a totally different kind of studio, not a yoga studio, but the photography kind set up by Lee Robinson for an hour. We needed to bring a bit more of a professional feel to our website and marketing leaflets etc and a up-to-date head shot for biographies always comes in handy. There was much hilarity all round and we basically all laughed our heads off for an hour so it was great fun. Apparently saying “prunes!” to the camera is the sure fire Kadashian way of getting the perfect pout. Can’t wait to see the finished articles and we’ll post them up as soon as we get them.
This weekend saw the first of our Sleep Hygiene workshops which was well attended and received. Caroline King, one of newest teachers with us, although with 27 years of experience under her belt, took the session giving tips and ideas on how to improve sleep capacity, insomnia prevention and relaxation techniques. We’ll be putting on one more of those later in the year, probably in the autumn, so do watch out for that.
Jennie is busy planning our trip out to the Whitstable Yoga Festival where we’ll be promoting our Yoga Teacher Training Programme. Must order all the banners and leaflets for that! We’ve not had a presence there before, but I understand that this, it’s second year, is said to be much bigger than last year. Fingers crossed!
We’re extending our reach and aiming to bring our classes to Lenham and Harrietsham so we’re always on the look out for venues and halls to hire. If you know of anywhere that has availability please do get in touch. We’ll be putting on a pilates workshop in the beautiful Stalisfield Village Hall on 1st July so more details to follow about that very soon.
That’s all for now! Look forward to seeing you in class but you can get in touch with us anytime throughout the week.
