Six Week Mindfulness Course

We’ve been offering our students a rolling mindfulness class, with our teacher Jenny Field, every Thursday at the WI Hall for about six months now which has proved very popular with a steady attendance of diligent meditators. However, Jennie first started the mindfulness programmes at Liberty Wellbeing many years ago with six week courses. These provide a firm foundation for students to work from with a definite beginning, a middle and an end.

“Some students want to learn in a format where they know they’ll have a comprehensive over view once the course has been completed” said Jennie. “A drop in class can suit a busy or fluctuating schedule however to know that the course content can be completed in a certain time frame also has it’s benefits.” she goes on to explain.

The next six week course with Jennie will start in the middle of February and continue to early April. This will comprise 2 hour sessions on Wednesday evenings plus home study in your own time. There is a limited number of places on the course, set to just 12, to ensure you receive the appropriate attention and support for the duration of the sessions.
