We could all do with a little help sometimes so we’ve compiled a list of common problems you might encounter and how you can easily find your way round our site and booking system.

Can I drop in and pay per class?

Yes you can. If you’re not sure that you want to commit to a monthly subscription, choose the class from the schedule and book each session individually.


How do I add a card to my account?

1. If you’ve already made an account when you choose a class to come to, you will be prompted to log in.
2. Click Book and accept the terms and conditions.
3. You will need to add your card details here and opt to save your card.

Adding a card via our free app

  1. Download our app, from your app store, search Liberty Wellbeing.
  2. Log into your account.
  3. Click the cog icon at the top right to access your account details.
  4. Click ‘Card Details’ and fill in as appropriate 
Can I have joint membership?

Our membership plans are designed for one person only. It is not possible for you to buy for example, a Liberty + membership and share the monthly credits between you and a friend or relative. Each person appearing on the class register must either hold their own membership level or be a pay as you go client.

I've never done it before, what do I wear?

You don’t need to wear anything special for meditation, just be comfortable. For tai chi you need to wear soft soled shoes. If you’re coming to a yoga class wear loose comfortable clothing, but please don’t wear shorts.

I want to pay cash on the day

Unfortunately we don’t accept cash nor can we take payments at the venues. Please ensure you have paid for your class before you attend.

Which class should I come to?

All our classes are listed as to whether they are beginners, improvers or intermediate level. Find one that suits you and your schedule/venue choice and visit the booking page. Intermediates yoga classes require a minimum of 2 years practice before attending.

Where is your studio located?

We use a variety of different venues around Ashford. You can find a list here.

I'd like to speak to someone

You can always use the ‘Let’s Talk’ button on the bottom right hand corner of your screen. If we’re online we can help you out straight away or you can always leave us a message and we’ll get back to you just as soon as we can. Otherwise you can phone us on weekday mornings on 01233 650932

What if I'm pregnant?

Our regular classes are not suitable for you if you’re pregnant. Our Pre-Natal yoga class of course though is ideal for you!

I can't use the internet

Don’t worry, we can answer your queries by phone if you need to speak to someone. Call us on 01233 650932 and we can book your classes for you.

What shall I bring?

If you are coming to yoga class and have yoga mat then please bring it with you. Do not bring camping or pilates mats. Our teachers always have spare ones for newcomers and can lend you one until you buy your own. Bring a little blanket for the relaxation session at the end of yoga classes. You do not need to bring anything to tai chi classes, just wear soft soled shoes. Meditation classes can be a little cool as they are done seated with not much moving around. It might be wise to bring a small blanket or wear layers to keep yourself warm.

Do you have an app?

Yes, we have a free app. Simply go to where you get your apps from and search for Glofox. Choose Liberty Wellbeing once prompted. It’s available for both android and iPhone.

My GP has recommended mindfulness

If your GP has recommended mindfulness, or you’re on the waiting list to see a counsellor, we suggest you come to one of our beginners mindfulness courses. Do bear in mind that is not a substitution for one-to-one sessions however it may well provide some relief whilst you wait to see a professional.

What kind of yoga do you teach?

All our classes are general yoga, sometimes called Hatha yoga, although this simply means it is yoga for all. Some of our teachers will emphasise working with the breath in a flowing style and some of our teachers are whizzes at anatomy and take their inspiration from there. The reason we don’t advertise the style of yoga as Hatha, is that we find our students are more concerned with the level of difficulty as being more important. No one wants to walk into a class that is more advanced than they are prepared for so we advise levels of ability rather than style.

How do I join?

If you want to a come to a course or workshop, simply click Sign Up on the relevant web page. At this point you will be required to make an account with us and you’ll need to pay too so have your debit card handy. Fill out your details when prompted and you’ll receive email confirmation of your bookings in your inbox. If you want to come to weekly classes it’s more beneficial to opt for a Subscription, you can find out about that here.

How do I cancel my membership?

If you need to cancel your membership, you can do this at any time by emailing us on office@liberrtywellbeing.info or calling us on 01233 650932 and we’ll get that all arranged for you. There is no cancellation fee, however there is a £25 joining fee if you choose to join again at a later date.

How do I cancel my booking?

If you need to cancel your class, event, course or workshop, then simply log into your account using the Login button on the top right hand corner of the booking page. You will find all the details in your account where you can follow the online prompts. Please note that refunds are not always given and terms and conditions apply.

How do I pause my membership?

If you would like to pause your membership, you can do so at any time for a minimum of three months. There is no fee to pause your membership and you can pause it as many times as you wish. Email us at office@libertywellbeing.info or call us on 01233 650932 and we’ll get that arranged for you.

How big are the classes?

Our BodyBalance© classes have space for 8 students. All other classes usually sit around 8-16 students. The biggest class of the week is the Sunday morning improvers class which holds 24 students.

I don't have a mat.

Don’t worry, the teacher will be able to lend you a mat when you first arrive.

Has my booking gone through?

You will receive a receipt from the booking system to confirm your payment has been received. You can also log in your to your account any time from the booking page,

1. Click Login button at the top right hand corner of your screen.
2. Enter your log in details and you’ll be able to check all your booking payments and upcoming events.

Can I come just to try it for free?

Unfortunately we don’t offer your first class for free. We understand many other providers do choose to do that however we feel that our teachers give excellent levels of service, instruction and tuition. You’ll receive all of that every time you come along whether it’s your first or 127th time with us.

Can my son or daughter come with me?

Our classes are only suitable for over 18’s.

How much is it?

You can opt for two ways of attending: a)  You can choose a monthly subscription that suits your budget and come to any class, venue or time. b) You can turn up each week, but you pay a little more for this at £7.50 a class.

I can't work the booking system

If you’re not very technical and find it hard to book online, you can always speak to someone on the “Lets Talk” button on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Or you can call us on 01233 650932 and one of our team will help you.

How do I find the classes?

Some of our classes are held in the dance studio at The North School. There is a handy little video for you to watch by clicking here to see where to go once you’ve arrived at the school. Our Tuesday class is held at The Towers School so we’ve also made a video for that too. Our venues page lists all the postcodes and parking for all of our venues. You can find that listed here too.

Can I pay with PayPal or BACS transfer?

No. Our comprehensive booking system helps us to allocate places on our events, provides waiting lists and securely stores your card details. Bank transfers and PayPal cannot perform these task and, with such a large number of students going through our doors each week, we need to keep details as professionally as possible.

Do you do 1:1's?

No, we currently do not offer the opportunity for private lessons.

I'm on a waiting list, what does that mean?

Our booking system operates on a traffic light system. You will see a red, green or amber symbol next to the class which indicates how close to being full the class is. If you opt to go on the waiting list, you will be notified by email if a place becomes available. All students on the waiting list are emailed and the first person to respond gets the place. This is all done by our booking system.
