A Six Week Mindfulness Course

We have a six week mindfulness course held on Wednesday evenings starting in February. Mindfulness may be new to you, but it’s been around for 2,500 years and has been practiced by millions of people around the world. It’s a way of finding some peace in a busy life, or even letting go of anxiety and depressing thoughts.

Who is the Course For?

If you find all the varied offerings of ‘mindfulness’ to be confusing but know that it has the potential to help you, then this course is for you. Perhaps you’ve been put on the waiting list for counselling by your GP and want to get started in the meantime. Or maybe you’ve read some books or listened to podcasts and want to know more. There’s nothing quite like time spent with a knowledgable teacher to bring it all to life.

Mindfulness is a way of dealing with the vagaries of life, of coming up with an appropriate response and reacting less so that our feeling of peace increases. It’s a simple technique however can take a little practice to master, but it’s been proven to help ease the symptoms of depression as effectively as medication

About the Teacher

Jennie is an experienced mindfulness teacher, therapist and meditation practitioner. She works with members of the public in workshops and retreats, see’s clients individually as well as teaching in large institutions such as Universities and prisons.
