Beginners Pilates Class
This class will be deliberately kept small so that all students are well cared for and everyone’s health conditions can be taken into account. Please bring a mat with you although the teacher can lend you one for your first class.
As with all our classes, you can come to a single class for £7.50 or sign up to a membership to make great savings. Students book and pay for their classes online, you can use the buttons to select your option and you’ll be taken through the booking system.
Classes are Tuesday’s at 7pm and Wednesday at 12:45pm.
All the pilates classes are held at Repton Connect Community Centre, Repton Avenue, Ashford TN23 3PX.
What is pilates?
Pilates helps core strength, bringing about changes to posture whilst standing, walking, sitting and moving around your daily activities. Our classes are small enough, limited to around 12 students so that you are well looked after and can be confident in each and every exercise.

I have been practicing Pilates for 12 years, starting in response to a whiplash injury. The benefits are transformative, not only in terms of rehabilitation but also strength, balance and self-awareness; I’ve never gone back.
I have been teaching for a number of years, running private classes in Buckinghamshire and country side mindfulness retreats, with elements of Pilates and Yoga. I am trained in mat-work Pilates, a wholly simple and engaging practice which I am passionate about. With focus on control, precision, breathing, concentration, flow and centering, for me pilates is a great method to stay aware, fit and strong.
