A combination of yoga, tai chi and mindfulness
Ideal for beginners and those who want to try a little taster of everything. Join us for this day long retreat allowing you to capture the essence of true wellbeing.
Set in the heart of Kent
Our beautiful venue is the perfect place to spend the morning, nourishing your soul and replenishing energy from all your weeks activities.
Ideal for Beginners
Join Jennie in this wellbeing day introducing you to three different disciplines of tai chi, yoga and mindfulness. Ideal for beginners or those wishing to try something a little new.
During the wellbeing day, our experienced teacher will guide you through some basic principles of each of the three disciplines and show you what you might expect if you came to a class. There’ll be time for tea and biscuits plus lots of questions for you to explore these new topics. This day also includes a healthy two course lunch. You can click here to read the menu.
Will I be able to keep up?
Don’t worry if you’re a little stiff or not very flexible, the yoga will be simple and gentle and designed with exactly you in mind. The tai chi can be done in a chair if need be and even the meditation or relaxation part of the morning can be done seated if you prefer not to lie on the floor. We’ll bring blankets for you to keep you cosy and comfortable, but of course you can bring all the things you need with you to make this a positive experience.
Tram Hatch Gardens is a beautiful venue, set deep in the heart of Kent. There are acres of perfectly kept gardens and a secluded tucked away space for us all to work in.
We currently have no wellbeing days planned for 2018.
These days are held at Tram Hatch Gardens, Charing Heath which is just outside Ashford. Please read our directions to find the venue before setting off.
The day costs £65 which includes a beautiful home cooked, two course vegetarian lunch.
What to bring
If you have a yoga mat or props, blankets or meditation cushions please bring them with you. Otherwise we can provide them for you.
I have food intolerances/allergies, will I be able to eat the lunch?
The food provided is clean and simple, with no dressings, sauces or strong flavourings and is made up of all the ingredients you would find in your local supermarket. It’s an important part of the retreat that you don’t worry too much about details like bringing your own lunch. You can click here to read the menu, but do get in contact with us if you have any concerns.
What should I wear?
Shoes are not worn in the Garden Room so wear a pair that it’s easy to slip in and out of. If you want to sit on the floor, wear something that easily allows freedom of movement in the legs.
What do I need to bring?
If you’d like to bring your own meditation cushions, blankets or yoga mat, it would be lovely and helpful however there will be some to borrow on the day. Any other items that you might need will be provided for you.
